The original Mama T’s Elderberry contains honey which should not be given to babies under 1 year old. We do have a honey-free recipe with organic maple syrup which is infant and vegan friendly!

Recommended Use: 1 Tablespoon for adults and 1 teaspoon for children, once a day. For intensive use, it can be taken every 3 hours. Do not give products with honey to babies under 1 year old. It tastes great so you can take it by itself or feel free to add it to smoothies, juice, drinks, on top of yogurt, sparkling water, etc!

Check the bottom of your bottle for the expiration date sticker. Unopened bottles are good until that date (usually 6 months). Once you open your bottle, please consume it within 3 months. You can freeze it for long-term storage (we recommend freezing in ice cube trays).

We usually ship the next business day excluding holidays. Our fresh elderberry syrup will ship via FedEx 2-Day and arrive on the 3rd business day. Dry products will ship via USPS and arrive within a week. Mama T’s only ships within the US.

Yes, our fresh elderberry syrup should be kept refrigerated. We ship it via Fed-Ex 2-Day with an ice pack. Your elderberry syrup may arrive at room temperature and/or with an ice pack that is thawed, THAT'S OK! It is fine at room temperature for several days, but keep it in the refrigerator from now on to extend the shelf life.

Our DIY kit is shelf stable in the bag. Once you make the elderberry syrup, store it in the refrigerator for 3 months.
